Rose Rameau is Of-Counsel at the Aziz Bamba Law Firm in Ghana. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Fulbright Scholar at the University Of Ghana School Of Law from 2014- 21016 where she taught Investment and International Commercial Arbitration, General Principles of Arbitration as well as Contemporary Issues in Arbitration.
Prior to becoming a Fulbright Scholar in Ghana, she managed her own practice in Paris, France and Tampa, Florida (USA) and worked on special consulting projects for notable international law firms on FCPA due diligence, antitrust, and commercial litigation. In addition, she was an Adjunct Professor at the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) and Université Paris Est Créteil (Paris12) where she taught fundamentals of the English, and American legal systems as well as international business law.
Ms. Rameau focuses her practice in International Business Law, Commercial Litigation, International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Arbitration. Ms. Rameau is trained in both civil and common law. She obtained a Law degree from Syracuse University College of Law as well as a Master in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in Syracuse, New York. She also holds an LL.M in French, European and International Business Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II.) A holder of a Diploma as an International Arbitration Practitioner (ArbP) and a Certificate in Advance Studies (CAS) in International Arbitration from Universities of Luzern & Neuchâtel and the Swiss Arbitration Academy; she received among many awards: the Global Law & Practice Award, the Institute on Multilateral Peacekeeping Certificate, The Institute on International Commercial Law at Pace University School of Law Certificate and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Award.
She was Vice-Chair of the Africa Committee and the International Energy and Natural Resources Committee of the ABA International Law Section. Ms. Rameau represents Host States and investors in investment disputes and is also ready for appointment as arbitrator. A Member of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators in the UK, she is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Ms. Rameau is admitted to practice law in France, Ghana, Florida, District of Columbia, and New Jersey. Ms. Rameau is an appointed ICC Court Member on behalf of Haiti.
